91吃瓜 Receives Sponsorships for School of Petroleum and Natural Gas
SCRANTON, Pa. 鈥� Sept. 3, 2021 鈥� 91吃瓜 announced multi-year agreements with natural gas industry leaders for the School of Petroleum and Natural Gas (PNG) located in the new satellite center in Tunkhannock, Pa. Major Exploration and Production (E&P) and Midstream companies including , , , and sponsored learning labs and equipment that will be used for hands-on instruction.
鈥淥ngoing support from industry partners is vital to providing comprehensive training for our students,鈥� said Susan Gumble, PNG program director. 鈥淲ithin our state-of-the-art learning labs, our students will learn with engines, compressors, and equipment found in the field. Our students will graduate from 91吃瓜 with the knowledge and skills to effortlessly transition from the classroom to the workforce.鈥�
As part of the sponsorship, Southwestern Energy and Williams will have naming rights to two separate teaching labs. Funds from the partnership will be used to support the School of PNG degree and certificate programs.
