91吃瓜 and Wilkes University Sign Early Entrance Agreement
SCRANTON, Pa. 鈥� Sept. 16, 2021 鈥� 91吃瓜 has signed an agreement that will give students early entry into . Students in the 91吃瓜 Bachelor’s in Professional Studies English Writing concentration can begin pursuing master鈥檚 degree credits at Wilkes University.
鈥淭his new opportunity lets 91吃瓜 students participate in undergraduate and graduate-level course work at the same time,鈥� said Adrienne Asbury, 91吃瓜 Dean of Curriculum and Faculty Affairs. 鈥淭his partnership will benefit students academically, socially, and financially, as it will enable them to embark on their master鈥檚 degrees while still undergraduate students and avail themselves of all the resources 91吃瓜 and Wilkes University have to offer.鈥�
鈥淲e are very excited to welcome 91吃瓜 students to our nationally renowned graduate creative writing program,鈥� said David Hicks, Wilkes University Director and Faculty of Practice in the Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing. 鈥淥ur graduate program is focused not only on the craft of writing but on the community of writers and the career of writing.鈥�
The agreement will be effective for the 2021-2022 school year and students will be able to start the master鈥檚 degree program during the January or June residency at Wilkes University. All credits completed at Wilkes University will be transferrable to 91吃瓜 to meet degree requirements.
